Your FEURICH Competition - Team
The International FEURICH Competition for Piano, Voice, and Chamber Music offers young artists from all over the world a platform from which to present their talents in the heart of Vienna - a city renowned the world over for its rich musical heritage. The competition provides an inspirational and communicative atmosphere perfect for making new contacts and networking. A stage where your musical personality can shine - the FEURICH Competition offers a professional and fresh approach which will inspire performers and listeners alike.
Round 1: Registration deadline for the competition, including submission of video: 1 May 2020
Round 2: Performances in each age group: 4 to 6 July 2020
Age: from 6 to 99
Age groups:
A: 6-9 years
B: 10-14 years
C: 15-19 years
D: 20+ years
Categories:
I: Piano solo
II: Chamber music
III: Voice solo
IV: Special category
Categories I to III apply to both classical and modern styles such as Jazz, Pop, and Musical.
Category IV is restricted to age groups A and B and a modern style repertoire. At least one of the pieces must be from the repertoire list.
There is no limit regarding the length of pieces for the first round. Simply upload two videos of pieces different in style/character and add the links to your registration.

The Grand Finale Concert and the award ceremony will be on 6 July 2020 at 17:00 in the historical

1st Prize: from 90 to 99 points - certificate, trophy and cash prize (cat.A: 150€, cat.B: 200€, cat.C: 300€, cat.D: 400€)
2nd Prize: from 80 to 89 points - certificate and trophy
3rd Prize: from 70 to 79 points - certificate and trophy
Grand Prize: 600 €
The winners named by the jury will be awarded special prices in the form of invitations to perform in various concerts and festivals. Our partners for 2020/21 are:

Eligible participants are amateurs and professionals between the ages of 6 and 99 years. In chamber music pieces, the piano part must be played in live performance i.e. it is not allowed for the piano part to be reproduced by recorded medium
Feurich combines tradition and innovation - that’s why the first three prize winners will not only be awarded in the traditional manner, but will also be given credit for creativity and passion. Invitations to perform in concert venues will also be on awarded and performers who excel in these departments will be given special mention.
